Analysis:

The two-way tantalizer is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks with a broken fibula, so the moved to IR was entirely expected. Fortunately for the Blueshirts, they have the depth necessary to patch holes down the middle, as Kevin Hayes, Derek Stepan and Brandon Pirri all have 10-plus points this season.
