Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Defending net Friday

Hellebuyck will start in goal Friday night against host Nashville, Robby Stanley of NHL.com reports.

Analysis:

Hellebuyck has been streaky of late. He compiled four straight wins from Nov. 8 through Nov. 15, only to drop the next three decisions on the road. Not helping matters is how the Jets have managed four goals over his losing skid, and a date with the Predators, a team that ranks 10th in the league at 2.89 goals per game, doesn't inspire confidence in using him in this next one.
