Analysis:

Crosby engaged New York's Ryan McDonagh after the defenseman checked Conor Sheary -- a sequence that seemed to energize the captain. All of a sudden, he leads the NHL with 14 goals despite having played in only 14 games. The league has a lot of rising young stars, but when Crosby's on, he's simply incomparable.
