Capitals' Braden Holtby: Earns first shutout of campaign
Holtby blanked the Red Wings, stopping all 25 shots that came his way during a 1-0 win Friday.
Analysis:
On a night where the Caps lost a few offensive weapons, Holtby wasn't phased and earned his first shutout of the season. The netminder is in top form this year, but he's really starting to shine in November. The 27-year-old has won six of seven games, registering a .939 save percentage in that span. Early returns are extremely promising for owners and don't expect Holtby to slow down.
