Capitals' T.J. Oshie: Will not return Friday

Oshie will not return to Friday night's game against the Red Wings after sustaining an undisclosed injury and he will be reevaluated by the team Saturday.

Analysis:

Oshie sustained the injury when he went for a big hit on Riley Sheahan and ended up on the losing end of it. While the team has given no official designation on the injury yet, Oshie has a history with concussions and some of the Caps' beat writers are speculating that could be the issue. His status will likely be updated once the team gives the 29-year-old another evaluation Saturday.
