Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Sees winning streak come to crashing halt
Hellebuyck gave up four goals on 21 shots during Thursday's 5-2 loss in Philadelphia.
Analysis:
A winner of four straight coming in, with a .946 save percentage in that span, the 23-year-old netminder saw his hot streak come to a crashing halt at the hands of Philadelphia's previously mediocre offense. Considering how good he's been of late, though, he merits some forgiveness for this clunker; that said, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Jets give him a break and deploy Michael Hutchinson on Saturday against Boston, so Hellebuyck's owners will want to check back to see whether he'll be in net then.
