Sabres' Robin Lehner: Tending twine Thursday
Lehner will defend the cage Thursday against the Maple Leafs, Bill Hoppe of the Times Herald reports.
Analysis:
Lehner is currently bogged down in a four-game losing streak which includes two outings in which he allowed four pucks to find the back of the net. Unless the 25-year-old (2.41 GAA) can turn it around soon, it seems likely coach Dan Bylsma will start sprinkling in more of Anders Nilsson, who has performed significantly better (1.96 GAA), albeit in a much more limited capacity.
