Hurricanes' Justin Faulk: Transferred to IR

Faulk (upper body) has been placed on injured reserve.

Analysis:

The prolific puck-moving blueliner will be eligible to return Nov. 15 for a home game against the Sharks. Look for Ryan Murphy or Jakub Nakladal to see an increase in playing time, albeit on the bottom pair, while Faulk's in recovery mode.
