Capitals' Braden Holtby: Tending twine Tuesday

Holtby will protect the net Tuesday against the Sharks, Isabelle Khurshudyan of the Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

Holtby has started all but two games this season and has been stellar outside of a two-game stretch against the Oilers and Rangers. He enters Tuesday having won four straight outings and owns a 6-2-1 record through nine appearances. He will face a Sharks club that's yet to get things rolling offensively this season (2.25 goals per game) with a good shot at extending his win streak to five.
