Capitals' Braden Holtby: Confirmed starter Saturday

As expected, Holtby will command the crease Saturday, taking on the Panthers at home.

Analysis:

Holtby will see goalie counterpart Roberto Luongo on the opposite end of the rink, making this a highly anticipated match on a heavy 13-game slate. The Panthers are still without some of their key forwards -- Jonathan Huberdeau (lower body), Nick Bjugstad (hand), and Jussi Jokinen (knee) -- but Holtby will need to slow down winger Jonathan Marchessault, who is averaging more than a point per game on the young season.
