Ducks' John Gibson: Cruises to victory Wednesday

Gibson thwarted 28 of 29 shots in a 6-1 beatdown of the Predators on Wednesday.

Analysis:

After dropping the first three starts of the season, Gibson has roared back with three wins in his last four, allowing just six goals during that span. He's being leaned on heavily in the early going by new head coach Randy Carlyle and appears up to the task of assuming the undisputed starting gig in Orange County now that Frederik Andersen is out of the picture.
