Ducks' Ryan Getzlaf: Ruled out Wednesday
Getzlaf (upper body) will not play Wednesday night against the Predators.
Analysis:
The Ducks have seven defensemen on the active roster, with Korbinian Holzer being the most recent spare, so it's possible that one of the blueliners draws into a forward spot Wednesday to make up for Getzlaf's absence; the recently waived Emerson Etem could also stay with the big club. Either way, Getzlaf should be considered day-to-day ahead of Friday's home game against the Blue Jackets.
