Ducks' Emerson Etem: Waived Wednesday

Etem was waived for the second time this season Wednesday, Bob McKenzie of TSN reports.

Analysis:

Waiving Etem could be a sign that Rickard Rakell's visa issues have been resolved. Etem played in just two of the Ducks' first seven games this year, averaging 6:01 of ice time, so he was clearly a temporary fill-in on Anaheim's roster. If he goes unclaimed, the team will assign him to AHL San Diego.
