Sharks' Joe Pavelski: Propels offense in Tuesday's win

Pavelski opened the scoring Tuesday against Anaheim with a first-period power-play goal and added an assist on Marc-Edouard Vlasic's overtime winner.

Analysis:

He's off to a terrific start, having racked up three goals and nine points in seven games. With three straight seasons of 70-plus points in his back pocket, Pavelski looks primed to make it four -- and maybe even crack the 80-point barrier for the first time.
