Blues' Jake Allen: Off night, but gets win Saturday

Allen allowed four goals on 27 shots, but the offense bailed him out in a 6-4 win over Calgary on Saturday.

Analysis:

Allen had played well in the first two games of the Western Canada swing, but came away 0-1-1 in losses to Vancouver and Edmonton before the offense woke up in Calgary. Through five games, Allen is 3-1-1 with an .896 save percentage. He'll get a couple of days off as the Blues head back to St. Louis for a Tuesday rematch against the Flames.
