Penguins place Pouliot on injured reserve

The Pittsburgh Penguins' blue line continues to grow thin.
Defenseman Derrick Pouliot was placed on injured reserve Friday with an undisclosed injury after being forced from Thursday's game against the San Jose Sharks.
In a corresponding move, the team recalled defenseman David Warsofsky from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League.
The injury is the latest blow to a team that's without Kris Letang, who is day to day with an upper-body injury, and saw Olli Maatta leave Thursday's contest.
