Penguins' Derrick Pouliot: Thursday debut cut short

Pouliot left Thursday's game with an undisclosed injury and did not return, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

Analysis:

Pouliot, who was making his season debut, registered one shot and saw 1:35 of ice time on the power play before leaving the game. Pens coach Mike Sullivan said he expects to release an injury update for Pouliot sometime Friday.
