Kings' Nic Dowd: Scores on power play in OT win

Dowd potted his first NHL goal Thursday, opening the scoring on a first-period power play in an eventual 4-3 overtime win against Dallas.

He skated 3:31 on the man advantage -- identical to Tuesday's figure -- despite his bottom-six assignment and ended up with five shots on goal and a pair of hits. Dowd's power-play minutes give him a hint of relevance in deep formats, as it's surprisingly starting to look like he's secured a spot down the middle with the Kings.
