Senators' Ryan Dzingel: Backs up training camp praise in four games to date
Dzingel has amassed two goals -- one shorthanded -- to go along with an assist and a plus-2 rating in four games this season.
Analysis:
Coach Guy Boucher raved about Dzingel during training camp, and the winger is backing it up with solid play. The 24-year-old is averaging just 10:28 of ice time on the bottom six, but after he earned his first multi-point effort of his career against Montreal, it's clear the youngster's confidence is building with increased opportunity. A 2011 seventh-round pick, he appeared in 30 games last year, accumulating just nine points. Dzingel should easily surpass that number here in his second NHL season.
