Predators' P.K. Subban: Will dress for preseason action Saturday

Subban (neck) will make his preseason debut with the Predators on Saturday night, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.

Analysis:

Subban's neck injury dates back to last April, when he was a member of the Canadiens and collided with Alexei Emelin. It will be interesting to see how much ice time the star defenseman picks up in his first taste of game action since that freak injury. Barring a setback, it appears that the 27-year-old will be healthy for the start of the 2016-17 campaign. Having recorded at least 50 points in each of the past three seasons, Subban's among the most valuable blueliners in fantasy.
