Bruins' Zachary Senyshyn: Set to participate in Wednesday's preseason game

Senyshyn (abdomen) will play in Wednesday's preseason matchup with the Red Wings.

Analysis:

Senyshyn underwent an appendectomy on Sep. 4 and wasn't able to take part in the Bruins' mid-September rookie camp as a result. The 2015 first-round pick could play himself onto the B's Opening Night roster if he impresses in preseason action, as Boston is a little thin at forward following the loss of Frank Vatrano to a serious foot injury that will keep him out until late December.
