Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Out with concussion-like symptoms
Kerdiles will be held out of training camp practices indefinitely due to concussion-like symptoms.
Analysis:
Kerdiles has yet to make his NHL debut and was always a long shot to make the Opening Night roster. However, given the uncertain timeline around recovery from a concussion, this probably punches his ticket back to AHL San Diego. The former Wisconsin Badger was selected by Anaheim in the second round of the 2012 NHL Draft and notched 15 goals and 12 assists in 45 outings last year with San Diego. Kerdiles could probably still use some time to develop, so you may want to hold off on picking him up except in the deepest of dynasty leagues.
