Canadiens' Alexander Radulov: Opens on the second line

Radulov will skate on Montreal's second line, Stu Cowan of the Montreal Gazette reports.

Analysis:

Radulov is the latest in a string of offseason forward acquisitions general manager Marc Bergevin has made, and Habs fans are hoping Radulov performs better than P.A. Parenteau, Danny Briere, Zack Kassian or Alexander Semin. He'll be skating with Tomas Plekanec at center and Andrew Shaw on left wing. The trio are brand new to one another, so they'll need to foster chemistry, but the parts are there. Shaw's an agitator, Plekanec's a passer, and Radulov is a scorer.
