Lightning's Ben Bishop: Drawing start against Czech team

Bishop will start in net for the United States against the Czech Republic on Thursday, Joe McDonald of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

After two poor starts from incumbent starter Jonathan Quick, Bishop will be between the pipes for the first time all tournament. Bishop is coming off a fantastic season for Tampa Bay in which he posted a league-best 2.06 GAA and a .926 save percentage that was good for second in the NHL.
