Penguins' Matt Murray: Will sit against Team Sweden

Murray (thumb) has been ruled out for Wednesday's meeting with Team Sweden, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports.

Analysis:

Murray will be replaced in the starting goal by John Gibson, with Connor Hellebuyck slotting into the back-up role. Murray told reporters it was a minor injury, so he could return if Team North America qualifies for the Knockout Stage. Perhaps more importantly for fantasy owners, there are no indications that this will impact the netminders availability for the start of the Penguins' Stanley Cup defense.
