Penguins' Marc-Andre Fleury: Not open to trade

Fleury has expressed a desire to stay with the Penguins, the Pittsburgh Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Fleury dealt with concussion issues last season, which forced him to take a back seat to Matt Murray, who was magnificent as a rookie during Pittsburgh's Stanley Cup championship run. Looking ahead to the 2016-17 campaign, it's believed that the netminders will come close to a 50-50 split in terms of playing time. Fleury, a two-time All-Star and Olympic gold medalist in 2010, would not welcome a trade from Pittsburgh after 12 years with the club. "No. No. No. I've always said this is like my home," he said. "I wish I could play here my whole career. I try to do my best for the team and for the organization." If you're worried about Murray's lack of experience from a fantasy point of view, consider handcuffing him to Fleury.
