Canadiens' Carey Price: Gets first game out of the way

Price stopped 21 of 24 shots for Team Canada in its 4-2 loss to Team USA in a World Cup of Hockey pre-tournament game Friday.

Analysis:

Price, who hadn't played in game conditions since suffering a knee injury last Nov. 25, was anxious to get the first game back out of the way. "It was a little bit of an adventure at times, but I kind of expected that as well," Price told reporters, including Stu Cowan of the Montreal Gazette, in Columbus after the game. "It's not easy to be out for that long and just pick it up right away. There's going to be some work to do, but I'm glad to get that one over with." Price will not be in the net when the two teams meet again Saturday night in Ottawa.
