Blue Jackets' Jack Johnson: Restores health following shoulder surgery

Johnson said his shoulder is 100 percent following surgery and that he's looking to get in shape for the World Cup of Hockey next month.

Analysis:

Unfortunately, fantasy owners won't be able to surgically repair the negative emotions left over from Johnson's 2015-16 campaign, which included a mere six goals and eight assists to go along with a putrid minus-16 rating. However, the 10-year veteran is just one season removed from a 40-point output, so it may be too soon to write him off completely. Johnson is most useful in league types that don't count rating, as he's minus-126 for his career.
