Coyotes' Michael Stone: Inks one-year deal Thursday

Stone (knee) agreed to terms on a one-year deal with Arizona worth $4 million Thursday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Analysis:

Stone missed the last seven games of the year with a knee injury, but is expected back at full strength for the start of the 2016-17 campaign. By settling on a new deal, the Coyotes avoided arbitration with the 26-year-old, but were unable to lock him up longer term. With six goals and 30 helpers in 2015-16, including 14 points with the man advantage, the blueliner should be on fantasy owners' minds come draft day.
