Bruins' Colin Miller: Re-ups with Boston for two years

Miller signed a two-year, $2 million contract extension with the Bruins on Thursday, WEEI.com reports.

Analysis:

Miller landed a part-time NHL gig as a rookie in 2015-16, having recorded three goals with 13 assists in 42 games. The 23-year-old rearguard also contributed five helpers on the power play. Miller is an intriguing option for the B's -- he skates well, has a pretty good shot, and scans the ice on the fly. Now that he's completed his entry-level contract, expect the skilled defender to take a big leap forward next season.
