Red Wings' Teemu Pulkkinen: Re-signs with Detroit

Pulkkinen has re-signed with Red Wings on a one-year contract, Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Analysis:

Pulkkinen is coming off of a surgery on his shoulder that should keep him sidelined for the next 4-to-6 months. He appeared in 36 games last season, notching six goals and six assists. The right winger's one-year deal is worth $812,500.
