Devils' Kyle Palmieri: Files for salary arbitration

Palmieri submitted his request for salary arbitration Tuesday, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.

Analysis:

Palmieri and the Devils still have throughout the arbitration process to reach an agreement on a long-term deal, something general manager Ray Shero has expressed interest in doing. Acquired by New Jersey in July 2015, via trade, the winger nearly doubled his point production as he potted 30 goals and 27 helpers this past season. In terms of fantasy, the 25-year-old should be a high-value target in almost any format.
