Canucks sign Loui Eriksson to 6-year, $36-million deal

The Vancouver Canucks signed free-agent forward Loui Eriksson to a six-year deal with an annual value of $6 million, the club announced Friday.
One of the top wingers in the free-agent crop, Eriksson is expected to fit immediately into Vancouver's top six, and possibly on a line with fellow Swedes Henrik and Daniel Sedin.
$28 mil of Eriksson's $36 mil total is paid in signing bonus. No move first 2 yrs, no trade next 2 and ltd no trade in final two yrs.

The 30-year-old spent the past three campaigns with the Boston Bruins, tallying 30 goals and 33 assists last season.
