The Predators traded Weber to the Canadiens in exchange for P.K. Subban on Wednesday.

The Predators saw an opportunity to add a little more youth to their blue line Wednesday and took the bait, exchanging the 30-year-old Weber for the 27-year-old Subban in a straight player-for-player trade. The Preds will be saying farewell to a player that was key to the franchise's success in recent years. Weber has been one of the NHL's premier defenders throughout his decade-long stay in Nashville, amassing an astounding 443 points (166 goals, 277 assists) over his 10 seasons. The right-handed defender will now take his talents to Montreal, where he'll immediately slot into a top-pairing role with the Canadiens.
