Blue Jackets' Seth Jones: Signs six-year deal with Columbus

Jones signed a six-year, $32.4 million contract extension with the Blue Jackets on Wednesday.

Analysis:

Jones notched 28 helpers last year on his way to career highs in both assists and points. Acquired by Columbus from Nashville in the first week of January, Jones will now be under team control through the 2021-22 season.
