Red Wings' Danny DeKeyser: Issued qualifying offer by Detroit

DeKeyser was tendered a qualifying offer by the Red Wings on Monday, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.

Analysis:

DeKeyser tallied eight goals this past year but ended on a 31-game goalless streak. While not considered a prolific scorer, the blueliner has reached the 20-point mark in each of his three NHL seasons and eats up a lot of ice time as he averaged 21:48 during 2015-16. His impact is much more defensively focused, which limits his fantasy value in most formats.
