Lightning's Vladislav Namestnikov: Sent qualifying offer

Namestnikov received a qualifying offer from Tampa Bay on Monday.

Analysis:

Namestnikov performed well in his first full NHL season as he racked up 14 goals and 21 assists along with garnering 45 PIM. Despite the solid regular season, the center completely disappeared in the playoffs with a paltry three points in 17 contests. The 23-year-old could see increased ice time if the Lightning are unable to secure Steven Stamkos into 2016-17, which would increase his fantasy value.
