Maple Leafs' Jonathan Bernier: Has to compete with Frederik Anderson for ice time
Bernier will compete for starter's time in 2016-17 with new arrival Frederik Andersen.
Analysis:
Anderson posted a 22-9-7 record with a 2.30 GAA and .919 save percentage in 43 games with the Ducks in 2015-16. Andersen also went 3-2 with a 1.41 GAA and .947 save percentage in five playoff starts in this past postseason. In short, Bernier is in tough to win starts, even with his $4.15 million contract.
