Penguins' Matt Murray: Heads to Shark Tank for Game 3

Murray will protect the net from the Sharks for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Saturday, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.

Analysis:

Murray emerged victorious from the first two games of the series, and now it's time to see how he fares in enemy territory. The rookie netminder has fashioned a 5-3 record and .921 save percentage on the road in these playoffs, and Pittsburgh is doing a fantastic job of creating turnovers against San Jose in the current series. With the Penguins dominating in the dot -- they've won 54 percent of draws compared to 46 percent for the Sharks -- Murray hasn't seen nearly as many shots as his goalie counterpart Martin Jones. If that trend continues, it should be enough to at least offset the disadvantage of his playing in the Shark Tank.
