Panthers' Roberto Luongo: Recovering well after hip surgery

Luongo is expected to be fully recovered from offseason hip surgery by the start of the 2016-17 season, the Sun Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Luongo's peripheral numbers (2.35 GAA, .922 save percentage) last regular season were almost identical to his output from the 2014-15 campaign, but he had seven more wins this time around, finishing with 35. He's one of the most reliable netminders in the game and warrants a high draft pick in most fantasy leagues next season.
