Devils sign Brandon Baddock to entry-level deal

The New Jersey Devils have signed center Brandon Baddock to an entry-level contract, the team announced Wednesday.
Baddock, the 161st overall selection in 2014, scored 22 goals and totaled a modest 35 points in his overage season with the Western Hockey League's Edmonton Oil Kings.
He served as team captain this season, his last during a successful tenure that included a Memorial Cup title in 2013.
