Penguins' Nick Bonino: Skips Sunday practice, expected to be fine

Bonino was not on the ice for the Penguins' practice Sunday, but coach Mike Sullivan indicated afterwards that he will be good to go for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Monday, Wes Crosby of NHL.com reports.

Analysis:

While it seems all is well with the 28-year-old forward, it's worth noting that he wasn't on the ice for Sunday's practice after leaving Game 7 against the Lightning briefly with a lower-leg issue. However, unless something suggests otherwise, it's safe to assume he will be on the ice for Game 1.
