Penguins' Matt Murray: Yanked after two periods in Game 4

Murray allowed four goals on 30 shots before being pulled in Friday's Game 4 loss to Tampa Bay.

Analysis:

The rookie got the hook after 40 minutes of play and was replaced by veteran Marc-Andre Fleury -- who made his first appearance of the postseason in this one. The Pens as a whole were downright awful in the game's first two periods, so this was likely more of a mercy-pull or message-sending tactic by head coach Mike Sullivan than it was a reflection of Murray's play. Fleury didn't allow a goal on just seven shots of relief work in a third period where Pittsburgh dominated the Bolts, so it'll be interesting to see who gets the nod in Game 5 on Sunday.
