Penguins' Patric Hornqvist: Potential to play Friday

Coach Mike Sullivan believes Hornqvist (hand) has a chance of playing Friday. "He's being evaluated today," coach Mike Sullivan said Thursday. "He obviously blocked a shot late in the game. We think he's making progress, we'll see how he is Friday but I don't envision it being an issue."

Analysis:

The winger led Pittsburgh with three hits, three blocked shots and two takeaways Wednesday. Since his hat trick against the Rangers in the opening game of the postseason, Hornqvist has scored three goals and five points in his last 13 playoff contests.
