Penguins' Patric Hornqvist: Leaves Game 3 with injury

Hornqvist left Wednesday's Game 3 with a left hand injury, Dave Molinari of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Analysis:

Hornqvist was seen heading to the locker room late in the third period after he blocked a shot off of his wrist. Considering it was late in the final period, it remains unclear whether he would've been able to return to the game. That said, we'll have to wait for further information regarding the severity of the injury. The Penguins have Game 4 scheduled for Friday, so Hornqvist will have a day off to get the injury evaluated.
