Stars' Chris Martenet: Agrees to contract with Dallas

Martenet signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Stars on Wednesday.

Analysis:

Martenet, a fourth round draft pick in 2015, was an astounding plus-44 during his final OHL season while adding 85 PIM and 12 points. The teenager gives Dallas some added organizational depth along the blue line, as several of their defenders are set to become free agents in the offseason.
