Stars' Jamie Benn: Goes out with a whimper

Benn attempted just one shot on goal and finished with a minus-1 rating as his Stars were eliminated in humiliating fashion Wednesday via a 6-1 loss to the Blues in Game 7.

Analysis:

Great things were expected of Benn in this game after he totaled 15 points through 12 appearances this postseason, but he came up empty along with the rest of the Stars. While this one will surely sting, the 26-year-old can still hang his hat on a fantastic playoff showing overall following an 89-point regular season.
