Islanders' Anders Lee: Indicates he could have played a Game 7

Lee (leg) said he could've played if there had been a Game 7 against the Lightning on Thursday, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.

Analysis:

It's nice to know that Lee is over his leg injury, but there wasn't even a Game 6 as the Bolts made quick work of the Isles, ending the series with a shutout this past Sunday. Lee didn't play at all in the playoffs. He sustained a fractured leg after getting in the way of a slap shot from teammate Johnny Boychuk while facing the Rangers on April 7. After breaking out with 41 points in 2014-15, his first full season, Lee took a step back in terms of total points this year, though he did have eight more power-play markers, giving him eight goals and six assists in that special teams scenario.
