Stars' Kari Lehtonen: Back to bench for Game 3

Contrary to previous reports, Lehtonen will not start against the Blues on Tuesday night. Instead, it will be Antti Niemi working between the pipes for Game 3 of the conference semifinals, Mike Heika of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Analysis:

Stars coach Lindy Ruff initially told the media that Lehtonen would get the call, despite allowing three goals on five shots before a premature exit in Sunday's Game 2, but The Dallas Morning News reports that Ruff may have been joking when he said, "Well, we've been going with Lehtonon, so we're going to stay with him." Misdirection from the bench boss came to light when Niemi was the first goalie to leave the ice at morning skate Tuesday. Whenever a goalie is the first one off, it almost always means he'll start that night. Now that Niemi's officially the starter, adjust your fantasy lineups accordingly.
