Pouliot (shoulder) will not play in Saturday's regular-season finale against the Canucks, per Oilers coach Todd McLellan.

Analysis:

Despite how he won't play in the final game, McLellan notes that Pouliot has returned to (practice) ice to "see how it felt to handle the puck." It's believed that the 29-year-old winger is dealing with a separated shoulder, but now has a full offseason to recover. This injury shouldn't affect Pouliot's draft stock for next season. He's only appeared in 113 games with Edmonton over the past two seasons, but Pouliot's been quite effective with 70 points in that span.
